Duchess Says has returned to Earth to soil your sweet dreams with Negative Thoughts, the first single from their forthcoming Sciences Nouvelles LP, out this fall on Bonsound (Canada) and Slovenly Recordings (rest of the world), with the ringing endorsement of the Church of Budgerigars. In this antagonistic coldwave workout, chanteuse maniaque Annie-Claude Deschênes hammers Negative Thoughts straight through the soul, besmirching your cherished optimism while her cocky cronies dismissively grind it into dust.

Negative Thoughts premiered yesterday on Brooklyn Vegan, and is available now on Bandcamp, Soundcloud and all other digital platforms.

Composed of A-Claude (vox, keytar, guitar), Ismael (keyboard, guitar), Phil (guitar, bass, feedbacks) and Simon (lo-fi beats, drums and doubtful noises), Duchess Says serves us a repertoire of moog rock - strong in image and a live force to be reckoned with. Having already shared the stage with world-renowned bands like Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Teenage Jesus and the Jerks, Ariel Pink, The Black Lips and The Buzzcocks, the band will unleash their pure theatrical mayhem on many audiences starting this spring.
