Les Deuxluxes, comprised of Anna Frances Meyer (vocals, tenor guitar) and Étienne Barry (drums, guitar & vocals, simultaneously), unveil Springtime Devil, the first single and title track off their upcoming debut LP due out this September on Bonsound.
Springtime Devil delivers a visceral rush, showcasing the band’s many colours, with rapid-fire rhythms and sensual melodies. The song is a perfect introduction to and summary of this album. We are working in the extremes of our musical palette, creating soundscapes and images we didn't know we had in us the first time around, explains the duo.
Springtime Devil premiered yesterday on Exclaim, and is now available on Bandcamp and all other digital platforms.
Since the release of their mini-album Traitement Deuxluxe in May 2014, which introduced us to their one-of-a-kind brand of rock’n’roll, the Montreal duo has stolen the show at many large-scale events (Montréal International Jazz Festival, Festival d’été de Québec, POP Montréal, M for Montréal). Les Deuxluxes promise a hell-fire of a show and their sensual, wild performances are guaranteed to shake you to the core.
