Having already won over European fans last December when she opened for Lou Doillon, Safia Nolin announces a second tour on the other side of the Atlantic this September. She’ll be performing in France and Switzerland over 10 days, kicking off her tour on September 16th at Le Chaînon Manquant festival. The young, fragile and deeply moving songwriter (Les Inrocks) will continue touring across Quebec this fall and winter.
Safia, who recently won the prestigious Prix Félix-Leclerc de la chanson, also shares a DAVAI-directed video for her song Technicolor, premiering today on NOISEY. Shot in Newfoundland using drones, the video features astonishingly haunting images of landscapes, some of which have been digitally altered, which enhance the song’s moodiness. Technicolor is off the Polaris Long-Listed album Limoilou, released in September 2015.
