Today, Groenland unveils a video for Distractions off their sophomore effort A Wider Space, released on September 16th via Bonsound. Directed by Dan & Pag (DTO Films), the video features four individuals who physically interpret the music in a variety of settings, including a library, a gym, a laundromat and a reception hall.

The album A Wider Space was produced by Marcus Paquin (Local Natives, Arcade Fire, The National, etc.) who made good use of Groenland’s creative forces. Still guided by Sabrina Halde’s powerful vocals and punctuated by exuberant orchestral arrangements, these ten new songs daringly mix electro and organic elements. A Wider Space reflects the band’s newly-found maturity and recalls the joie de vivre closely associated with Groenland’s performances since the very beginning.

After introducing their new album to crowds across Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia this fall, Groenland - who are one of 5 Canadian bands to whom you should be listening according to NYLON - will hit the road once again in January 2017.
