Currently touring across the Atlantic, Groenland unveils a video for Cabin, a ballad filled with majestic strings. The track is off their sophomore effort, A Wider Space, released in September 2016 via Bonsound.

Director Jean-François Sauvé (Romeo & Fils) worked with actor Francis La Haye to produce the video, which is inspired by a true story that occurred a few years ago in Sweden. A man was trapped in his snowed-in car for two months and managed to survive by essentially hibernating.

Watch and share the video for Cabin via YouTube.

Over the next few weeks, Groenland - one of 5 Canadian bands to listen to right now according to NYLON - will bring their orchestral pop music to many European cities, including Hamburg (tonight!), Luxembourg, Amsterdam and Paris. Upon their return, the band will perform in Toronto at Supermarket on April 20th, as part of Bonsound’s Canadian Music Week showcase.

One of 5 Canadians Bands To Listen To Right Now

NYLON

Thomas Burgel, Les Inrocks

Their music [is] fairly poppy, but there are always layers of complexity [...]
