Lisa LeBlanc releases a music video for You Look Like Trouble (But I Guess I Do Too). The video is for the first single off her Highways, Heartaches and Time Well Wasted EP which was released in fall 2014 via Bonsound. Gritty and purposeful, the video was directed by Didier Charette. What looks to be the first scenes of a ragged ultimate fighting story takes a sharp twist into the high stakes world of underground chess. The intense video is shot with glimpses of Lisa and her band's electric live performance throughout.
Released in November 2014, the EP debuted at #7 on the National Sales Charts, and is currently charting on !Earshot’s Folk/Roots/Blues Chart. It is the follow-up to the Acadian’s self-titled French debut album that has sold over 88,000 copies since its release three years ago.
Craving adventure, Lisa LeBlanc hit the road in 2013 across southern America and found inspiration for her EP. Highways, Heartaches and Time Well Wasted was then recorded on the fly in the Maritimes, and the result of these spontaneous sessions is an Americana sound that rings true to all kinds of audiences.
During her 2014 fall cross-Canada tour, Lisa performed sold-out shows in Ottawa, Toronto and Hamilton, and charmed everyone she met all the way to Vancouver. She will return to Ontario for a few encore performances in Ottawa (April 1st), Kingston (April 2nd) and Guelph (April 3rd).
